Alleviating Poverty Through Entrepreneurship Summit - April 2013.
Poverty means not having access to basic human needs - such as food and clean water. 16, 000 children die every day due to hunger. Two-thirds of people in the world lack access to clean water. Poverty robs people of their dignity and limits their ability to improve lives.
We can use Entrepreneurship to increase access to opportunities and improve the quality of life for the poor around the world. Social Entrepreneurship uses business practices and innovation to create solutions to society's problems.
