Her research has appeared in numerous professional journals, including Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Human Resource Management Journal, Human Resource Development Quarterly, Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences, Perspectives on Work and The Labor Law Journal. Tansky was co-editor for a special edition of Human Resource Management Journal on “Human Resource Management in SMEs (small and medium enterprises): A call for more research,” and was co-editor of a book to be published in the next year that is a result of a conference held at Ohio State: “Managing the Growing Firm.” Additionally, Tansky currently serves as associate editor of Human Resource Management Journal. She has had several monographs published by the Sar Levitan Center for Social Policy Studies, and several book chapters, and has written a white paper for the Society for Human Resource Management based on research about the human resource practices of firms with fewer than 500 employees.
